This policy explains how the website devedanos.com, operated by S NOBOUR (DEVEDANOS), uses cookies and other trackers in accordance with Article 82 of French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 (Data Protection Act), CNIL Deliberation No. 2020-091 of 17 September 2020, and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, phone, tablet) by your browser when you visit a website. It allows the site to remember information about your visit.

localStorage is not a cookie. The preferred language is not transmitted to our servers or to any third party. The analytics identifier is sent to PostHog with page views and clicks, only if you have accepted.

The cc_cookie is classified as strictly necessary under Article 82 of the Data Protection Act and CNIL Deliberation No. 2020-091 (Article 5). It records your decision to accept or refuse cookies. No prior consent is required for its placement. We list it here for transparency, in line with CNIL recommendations.

The ph_phc_* cookie is set by PostHog, an audience measurement tool whose data is hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). This cookie is set only after you accept via the consent banner.

It is used to:

  • measure site traffic (page views, most visited pages);
  • record clicks on links and buttons;
  • analyse navigation paths to improve usability;
  • measure form conversion rates;
  • occasionally show you a survey, whose answers are sent to PostHog.

No email address, name, or other identifying information is sent to PostHog.

If you accept it, PostHog records your visit: the pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, mouse movements and how pages are displayed. We use it to understand how the site is used.

Browser console logs and network requests (address and timing, not their content) are recorded with the session.

Form fields are masked. What you type into a form does not appear in the recording. Text and images shown on the page are not masked.

Session recording has its own choice in the banner, under Preferences. It only starts if you accept both analytics cookies and session recording. Accept all enables both.

It sets no additional cookie and creates no other entry in local storage. It relies on the same ph_phc_* identifier as audience measurement.

To stop it, click the Manage cookies link at the bottom of every page and switch off Session recording. The change takes effect immediately. Withdrawing your consent to analytics cookies also stops the recording.

If you refuse

When you refuse analytics cookies, your browsing is not measured: your browser sends no page views and no interactions to PostHog.

To remember your refusal, only the cc_cookie cookie is set. PostHog places nothing on your device.

Until October 2026, visitors who refused were counted by PostHog in cookieless mode. That data stays with PostHog until its retention period ends (see Retention periods below).

Third-party cookies

This site does not set any advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party cookies.

On your first visit, a consent banner offers you three choices:

  • Accept all — enables analytics cookies and session recording;
  • Refuse all — no analytics cookie is set;
  • Preferences — choose which cookie categories you accept.

The accept and refuse buttons have equal visual prominence, in compliance with CNIL recommendations.

You can change your choice at any time by clicking the Manage cookies link at the bottom of every page. The change takes effect immediately.

How long your choice is stored

Your choice is stored for 6 months, in accordance with CNIL recommendations (Deliberation No. 2020-092). After this period, the consent banner will appear again.
