Introduction

This policy explains how the website devedanos.com, operated by S NOBOUR (DEVEDANOS), uses cookies and other trackers in accordance with Article 82 of French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 (Data Protection Act), CNIL Deliberation No. 2020-091 of 17 September 2020, and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, phone, tablet) by your browser when you visit a website. It allows the site to remember information about your visit.

localStorage is not a cookie. It is not transmitted to our servers or to any third party. It is used solely to improve your browsing experience.

The cc_cookie is classified as strictly necessary under Article 82 of the Data Protection Act and CNIL Deliberation No. 2020-091 (Article 5). It records your decision to accept or refuse cookies. No prior consent is required for its placement. We list it here for transparency, in line with CNIL recommendations.

The ph_phc_* cookie is set by PostHog, an audience measurement tool whose data is hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). This cookie is set only after you accept via the consent banner.

It is used to:

  • measure site traffic (page views, most visited pages);
  • analyse navigation paths to improve usability;
  • measure form conversion rates.

The data collected consists of aggregated statistics. No email address, name, or other identifying information is sent to PostHog.

Anonymous cookieless tracking

When you refuse analytics cookies, PostHog operates in cookieless mode: anonymous, aggregated data (page views, without a unique identifier) is collected to measure site traffic. In this mode:

  • no cookie is placed on your device;
  • no personal data is collected;
  • no unique identifier allows you to be distinguished from another visitor;
  • the data is not combined with other processing activities.

This anonymous tracking relies on the legitimate interest of the publisher in measuring site performance (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The impact on your privacy is minimal: the data is purely statistical and cannot identify you in any way.

Third-party cookies

This site does not set any advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party cookies.

On your first visit, a consent banner offers you three choices:

  • Accept all — enables analytics cookies;
  • Refuse all — no analytics cookie is set (only anonymous cookieless tracking remains active);
  • Preferences — choose which cookie categories you accept.

The accept and refuse buttons have equal visual prominence, in compliance with CNIL recommendations.

You can change your choice at any time by clicking the Manage cookies link at the bottom of every page. The change takes effect immediately.

How long your choice is stored

Your choice is stored for 6 months, in accordance with CNIL recommendations (Deliberation No. 2020-092). After this period, the consent banner will appear again.
